Your website, with the limits written down

Ember is shared hosting on Plesk. Every package states its NVMe storage, installs WordPress and other CMS in one click, and comes with a domain that is free for as long as the package is active — and yours to transfer out whenever you like.

The free domain

Free while you host. Yours regardless.

A domain bundled with hosting is usually the hook: free for a year, then priced to make leaving hurt. Ember’s is not that.

  1. Register it, or bring your own

Pick a new domain at checkout or transfer one you already own. Either way it sits in your client area, under your name, with you as the registrant.

  2. Free for the life of the package

For as long as the hosting is active, the domain renews at no charge. There is no first-year trick and no renewal surprise.

  3. Transfer out whenever you want

It is yours, one hundred percent. Move it to another registrar at any time, hosting or no hosting — we hand over the authorisation code from the client area, no ticket required.

One-click installers

WordPress in a minute, and not only WordPress

Plesk installs, updates and backs up the common CMS from the panel. Pick one, name the site, and it is running on your domain with HTTPS already on.

  • WordPress
  • WooCommerce
  • Joomla
  • Drupal
  • PrestaShop
  • Nextcloud
  • Laravel
  • Node.js

The WordPress Toolkit in Plesk stages updates, clones a site for testing and hardens the install. Everything else is a normal Plesk subscription: mail, DNS, databases and Let’s Encrypt certificates from the same panel.

Shared or a server?

When Ember is the right answer, and when it is not

Shared hosting is the cheapest way to run a site and the wrong way to run a server. The line between the two is simple, so here it is.

Pick Ember when

  • You want a website, not a machine
  • WordPress or another CMS is the whole stack
  • Somebody else should patch the server
  • A free domain and Plesk mail matter to you

Pick a VPS when

  • You need root, a custom runtime or Docker
  • Your app is an API, a bot or a worker
  • You want guaranteed memory and your own kernel
  • Traffic has outgrown a shared machine

Shared hosting questions

Is the domain really free, and really mine?

Yes on both. The domain is registered in your name, with you as the registrant, and renews at no charge for as long as the Ember package is active. You can transfer it in from another registrar, and you can transfer it out again at any time — we release the authorisation code from the client area. If you cancel the hosting, the domain stays yours to renew or move; only the free renewal ends with the package.

What can I install with one click?

WordPress, WooCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, Nextcloud and other common CMS, from the Plesk application installer. The WordPress Toolkit also updates, clones, stages and hardens WordPress sites from the same panel.

Is shared hosting managed?

The machine is. We run the server, the panel, the mail service and the updates underneath. Your sites, your themes and your plugins are yours to administer from Plesk — which is a great deal easier than a root prompt, and is the point of the product.

What does 17% off for paying yearly mean?

Each package has a yearly price, printed on its card, that works out cheaper than twelve monthly payments. The saving is the shop’s figure; the yearly price is what you are invoiced, once a year.

What if my site outgrows the package?

Move up an Ember size from the client area, or move to a VPS. Because the domain is yours and the site is standard Plesk, moving to a Volt VPS is a migration you control rather than a rebuild.
